So, I've decided that after school, I'm moving to California . I belong there... it's calling my name.

Working with the two, old receptionist ladies at the optometry clinic is starting to become more bearable... they actually have a sense of humor -- who woulda thunk? Perhaps I'm just getting used to their idiosyncrasies. Nevertheless, all the other ladies at the clinic are still pretty weird ... you can tell they've been working there for a loooooong time.

I went swimming right after my guarding shift today and it was very refreshing as always. I was still a little traumatized by the poo incident on Friday, but Brian assured me that the pool was superhyperchlorinated. I took his word for it, and then proceeded to swim lengths for a half hour. Anyone wanna kiss ? haha.

For those of you who didn't think I would be able to quit Xanga for a while: thanks for believing in me -- it's great to have friends like you guys... bastards haha. I have 7 final exams coming up; plus, I have to get my life in order. I won't be shutting down my page though... it's too pretty for that lol. I think I have pretty good self-control, though, except for things like shopping, pizza, and sleeping in. I'll come back to Xanga when the time comes...

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

Man, I really have to place more trust in God -- I need to take a step back and let Him pave the way.

So, I taught the Standard First Aid recert today and it went well... I got some good positive feedback on the course evals so that made my day . It thunderstormed hardcore while I was teaching the course, but totally stopped when I finished teaching so that was cool lol -- my small, half-broken spider man umbrella wouldn't have survived the storm anyhow haha.

I got some sad news for some of ya'll... doing this Xanga thing was fun and all, but now the faze has passed, and I will be deleting this page in hopes of returning to a normal lifestyle haha. Ya'll will be missed... make sure to add me on MSN so we can keep in touch! I'll have my page up until later this week... peace.

Today, I guarded the swim that was for handicaps and paraplegics -- very interesting... never guarded a swim like that before. One of the kids hissed at me . Brian, a lifeguard, was on his break, so he got into the pool and played catch with them, which was cool. Despite their condition, it was actually cool to see everyone laughing and having fun -- a blessing from God indeed. Guarding the swim made me realize how inferior my problems actually are, and I also reflected on how grateful I should be for everything I have. So, I was in a good mood for the rest of the swim until..........

 There was a "pool-fouling."

In other words, someone pooed in the pool lol. I never thought that something like this would ever happen at a university pool, but I guess I have to expect the unexpected lol. So, we kicked everyone out of the pool and called the facility guys to take care of it. This happened near the end of the swim, so luckily, I was able to leave right away and not witness any poo-scoopage . They weren't small clumps either... they were big-ass chunks! Anyway, I will never ever be able to swim at that pool for a very long time.

Afterwards, I met up with Grace, and we hit the mall -- we went shopping at AE of course . Then, we went to the karaoke bar with Daseul and Rachel... haha karaoke was fun . We went to eat at a Chinese restaurant afterwards... Ok, so maybe I don't know the names of different Chinese foods... I'm from Chatham, c'mon now lol.

It's almost 2 am... what am I still doing here? lol... I have to teach first aid tomorrow from 9 to 5 -- joy. Oh ya, I almost forgot that I'm in school this term lol -- I gotta crack open the books soon... I'm going to have an exciting weekend , what about you? haha.
